At Half Mast Flag Company we pride ourselves in creating one of a kind, unique, rustic wooden flags and custom gifts. Each piece is 100% Handcrafted and sourced locally here in California. These pieces will not only complement your homes décor but typically becomes the centerpiece that is sure to be talked about for generations to come. 

Our flags and decors craftsmanship will not only impress you, but they will be sure to impress friends, family, coworkers, and guests alike. We know every one of our customers has a different story. That's why each one of our flags are uniquely customized to help reflect those details. Our company offers customization and options on all of our projects.

Our Roots

  California born and raised. The Bay Area has been and will be forever home. It's funny how I spent 17 years in the Military, 3 different Continents, 5 different Countries, and 7 States later… I set up roots 15 minutes from my childhood home.
 With a background in Graphic Design and Photography. My love for woodworking didn’t start until the tail end of my career. It grew from an incident all too often felt by Military members. Marines were rotating units, duty stations, and some Retiring all together. Either way, their time with our unit and the Corps was complete and it was time to move on. The downfall I noticed was they were leaving empty handed. All their hours put in, work completed, and dedication to the Corps, the Unit, and their careers were going unrecognized. I said to myself “Something had to change…” and unknowingly my business journey began. I didn’t realize it at the time, and it was more about doing what was right. The flags I had been building were gifts and I had no intention of becoming a business… but the more flags I built the more popular they became.
  Our business started from a need and has now flourished into a company I am proud of.

Just like every individual client we serve. Each one of our flags tell a different story. Your service length, units you served with, deployments overseas, and achievements through the years all contribute to your experience. We want to take all those memorable moments  and capture them. This is why we offer customization and options on all of our ensigns and builds. No life story is the same and neither are our Flags. These pieces are meant to represent you, your journey,  your service, and your pride. We provide our services to all, but pride ourselves on servicing members within the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Response community. It is considered a honor to created unique pieces for individuals who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for our beloved country and communities they serve.
